Brand design, at its best, is a collaboration. Every project I take on is a balance between my experience as a designer and the vision of the client. While I guide the creative direction, the final decision always belongs to the client—because in the end, it’s their identity we’re building. My approach begins with understanding what the business truly represents. From there, I aim to create a symbol—a visual mark that captures the essence of the product or service in its simplest, most recognizable form. A strong logo should feel almost timeless, not dependent on trends that fade after a few years. Simplicity is everything. The goal is to create a design where every line matters—remove one element and it falls apart, add one more and it becomes too much. That balance is where strong branding lives. Equally important is function. A logo must work in the real world: It should be clear and readable at very small sizes It must translate cleanly into a single color It needs to work on both light and dark backgrounds It should remain recognizable across print, apparel, and digital formats These are not optional qualities—they are essential. The name of a business often plays a significant role in shaping the outcome. In a perfect world, naming and branding happen together. In reality, I work with what exists—and do everything possible to elevate it. I prioritize clarity and recognition over cleverness. While creative ideas can be engaging, readability and immediate understanding are what make a brand memorable and effective over time.
